There is a place, near the small town of Marfa in Texas (USA), where a part of the Chihuahua desert flows into the virtual desert of Active Worlds (Active Worlds and one of the oldest active multiverse since 1995). In that same place, the virtual materializes in the real space. The story goes like this: 2 protagonists go to this strange place to cross to the other side.
Their journey starts in Marfa, they slowly slide from the material reality to the virtual world as they get closer to the Mexican border.
